Prepare first responders to handle cardiac events and other emergencies with the Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course!Student Supplies BLS

The BLS course teaches a wide variety of healthcare professionals the skills to keep people alive until they can be brought to a hospital or be treated with more advanced lifesaving measures. Course covers:

  • adult and pediatric CPR
  • two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag-valve mask
  • foreign-body airway obstruction (conscious and unconscious)
  • automated external defibrillation (includes child AED update)
  • special resuscitation situations
  • other cardiopulmonary emergencies
  • stroke and cardiac arrest.

Whether it is for your own full or part-time income or to provide training for your company, This program gives you the information and training to begin immediately.

This program is in three parts.
  1. Complete the CORE training prior to the class (pre-requisit for the class)
  2. Meet with your trainer to go over your workbook, t raining materials and complete the paperwork to become an American Heart Association Trainer.
  3. Conduct or assist in a class using the skills you have learned from your trainer.

Course includes

● 1 Instructor card

● BLS Instructor book with DVD or Heartsaver DVD (depending on course options)

● 3 months support to advise you on how to start your business and web-design for promotion.

● Optional HeartSaver Instructor Pack and workbook Added cost.

Required Prerequisite:
Have a current Certification in course you will be teaching, (We offer these programs to you at a discount if you do not have a current card.)

Registration needs to be completed and payment received within one week of the class so that we can have your materials available for you at the class.
